-Shareholders have a meeting towards the end of each year to allocate the weekends for the following year. They are each given an opportunity to have the main public holidays in rotation and otherwise the allocation is based on individual requests and discussion. Should a member not be able to take up an allocated weekend, it would be offered to the other members;
-Friends and family of the shareholder may take up one of their allocated weekends but the shareholder remains responsible and must ensure that they are familiar with the house and Estate rules.
-Should a shareholders require a housekeeper over the weekend that would be for their own cost.
-House rules - Adhere to the rules of the complex. Do not store personal items in the house. Leave it as clean as one would leave a timeshare apartment. Each shareholder has a trommel in the store room where linen may be kept. Shareholders phone Elsie, the maid, the day before arrival and she prepares beds etc. Each shareholder generally checks that there is electricity before they leave so that the next person does not arrive to a dark home. They share electricity costs;
-Any broken items are replaced by the shareholder who broke it. Should large appliance breaks, all shareholders contribute towards buying a new one. As and when necessary all shareholders contribute towards maintenance expenses.
